💚 Paragraph Writing: Global Warming

Introduction
Global warming is the gradual increase in the world’s temperature. It has become a global concern now a days. The effects of global warming are quite devastating. The main reason behind the increase in the world’s temperature is the increased amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
Causes:
Most climatologists believe that the greenhouse effect is an important cause of global warming. Increased amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is the main culprit. When people use  fuels like coal and oil, this adds carbon dioxide to the air. Coal-burning power plants, car exhausts, factory smokestacks, and other man-made waste gases give off tons of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases into the Earth's atmosphere.

Deforestation makes the problem of the greenhouse effect worse in two ways. When trees are burned or cut down, carbon dioxide is released into the air. It also eliminates countless numbers of carbon dioxide-absorbing trees from the environment.

Effects:
Global warming is very destructive and is a threat to humans, animals and plants. The increase of the world’s temperature can seriously reduce good growth, destroy or severely damage wildlife. It can melt ice-bergs, raise sea levels and thereby flood coastal areas, farmlands and low-land countries such as Bangladesh.
Another problem caused by global warming is changes in weather patterns. Many areas of the world are experiencing increased hurricanes, floods, and other unusual weather.
A third problem associated with global warming is the effect on animals. Fish populations could be affected, while some insects which spread disease might become more common. It can also pose a serious threat for polar animals.

Remedies:
There are several things we can do to solve the problem of global warming. One solution is to limit the emission of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. We can do this by switching from oil, coal and gas to renewable energy. Another solution is to plant more trees. Trees absorb carbon dioxide and produce oxygen, which is not a greenhouse gas. A third solution is to use less energy and to recycle more products. Generating electricity is one of the main sources of carbon dioxide. If we use less electricity, we will produce less carbon dioxide. This means, we need to stop wasting electricity.
Conclusion:
If we make small changes in the way we live, we can avoid huge changes in the future. Scientists, governments and individuals must work together to overcome this threat. It is our planet and we must come forward to save it for our generations to come.
